Britelite was founded in 1970 by John Baxter and his business partner Arthur Clacy. One of Arthur’s favourite adages was ‘If we supply the best product at the keenest price, we are sure to succeed’ and this policy has stood Britelite in good stead for over 50 years. It’s a simple adage, but it helps us remember to focus on what’s important: supplying the finest products available at the most competitive price possible.
Since then, we have installed hundreds of thousands of home improvement products throughout the South East and we believe our Triple ‘A’ rated service is simply the finest available. The quality of our installations is consistently excellent; every single one of our fitters works towards the highest standard for the installation of verandas. We are proud to call them fine ambassadors for the company, who will treat you and your home with total respect. And we have the accreditations to underline this too.
Britelite’s humble beginnings started in the showroom/offices on Lower Stone Street in Maidstone, where John and Arthur managed two teams of fitters and two administrators.
Fast forward to 2024, and we now boast our stunning Head Office in Maidstone’s Parkwood Trading Estate, which also houses one of our conservatory show centres. With over 40 teams of fitters and over 50 staff members, all of whom are committed to the task of making your installation run smoothly, we are one of the UK’s biggest and best contractors.
Despite our growth, we remain committed to delivering the “best product at the keenest price” while also maintaining the friendly, personalised, and responsive service that helped us build our winning reputation in the first place. Frankly, it’s the least you deserve!
